Vintage Tyres
We at Vintage Tyres are the world’s largest supplier of original-equipment tyres for enthusiast vehicles such as ones from the dawn of motoring to the early 90’s. We first established back in 1962 where we originally maintained a supply of Dunlop tyres. Today however, we stock over 20,000 tyres from a wide variety of top brands including: Dunlop, Avon, Michelin, BF Goodrich and Vredestein. Over the years, we have also developed our very own brands: Ensign and Waymaster! They both evoke great tread patterns from the past in crossply and beaded-edge, and they come in a wide range of sizes too.
We could not be prouder of the fact that we are responsible for bringing over 30 historic tyres back into production such as the dynamic Dunlop Aquajet which was the original-equipment on the E-type, and the rugged SP44 Weathermaster, which was a favourite among adventurous Mini and Moke owners. We have a deep passion for keeping older classic and vintage vehicles on the road and that is one of the key reasons why we set up Vintage Tyres in the first place. That same enthusiasm, and the expertise gained throughout the five decades we have been in business, ensures we are ideally placed to meet your every tyre need and requirement.
We do not just supply tyres, we also offer a fitting service too. Our knowledgeable and professional team are one of the most experienced you will find. We can fit tyres such as: Beaded edge, Straight sided, Tube-type crossply, Tube-type radial, and Tubeless tyres (where appropriate) to cars, 4×4s, light trucks, motorcycles and split rims. We are also able to balance most car wheels including wire wheels which we have a great deal of experience in.
